      Smoking..

A question for those of you who are lucky enough to be graced with this beautiful habbit:

do you ever smoke in you dreams? I have been smoking for a few years now with innumerable attempts at quitting, but never to the best of my recollection have I sparked up a cigarette in a dream.

And I suppose even if I tried to, I would probably not be able. I figure that attempting to operate a lighter would be impossible due to device failure.

I'm not sure though.. any comments?

I have smoked in my dreams. I remember trying to quit once and I had the option of smoking in a dream and I resisted. I have even smoked pot in my dreams and it makes me really, really high. I'd like to try other drugs and stuff in a dream.

awhile ago i tried shrooms, it was very intense and nothing ive ever experienced before. 2 times after that i had VERY intense dreams, but very frightening. i have never had a lucid dream before but i would really enjoy testing out shrooms in one. in my dreams i was very paranoid because of so many people in my dreams, but i hallucinated in them which was very kick ass, and i felt the major body high you get when you dream. if you ever try testing out shrooms in a lucid dream lemme know how it went

I've heard Dr. Drew from LoveLine say that when coke addicts dream of getting high, they wake up with all the physiological effect of being high, including feeling high. None of those pesty negative side effects, though.

Unless you're like me, and you've tried a few.

Ive never smoked. But im always wanting a bong just never have any or run into any one with smoke. Kinda opposite of my real life. Maybe its a sign that if i stopped smoking i would dream better not sure but one thing i know is when im out a day or two i have some crazy lucid dreams. Never stopped bullets but have avoided and taken many.

I've stopped bullets before. It was fun. When I tried to stop with with my hand (like Neo) the guns just got mangled and turned around, along with a bunch of recyclables. Interesting dream actually...

I was trying to convince these two groups of snipers (men vs women) to not shoot each other; they were playing a kill for real game and were at a standoff. When I flew up between them I became lucid. There I stopped the men's bullets and then mangled the women's guns. I then flew over to a hot black girl, whose hands were really warm, and we started flying over some train tracks.

I asked her to tell me about her childhood and she said she didn't remember. I asked her what she did, and she said "I get hurt," kind of matter-of-factly. I didn't want to wake up so I set her down next to one of my friends and told her he was a good guy. Then I woke.

I thought it was interesting her opinion of her existence (which I guess was really my opinion of her "existence"). It was kind of creepy.

Usulally my lucid dreams are completely non violent unless i want them to be. I try different things like if someone is aggressive or armed i will take them on and have some good fights with mostly fists and legs now and then some weapons get involved. The times i have been shot mostly i wake up or escape by dodging the gun fire.

Last night i had a dream of being shot at and I tryed to stop them in mid air like neo, but I guess cause I'm not the chosen one, the only slowed down long enough for me to duck

I smoke but I can't ever recall smoking in a dream. Then again I don't remember too many of my dreams. I find people's accounts of doing drugs in dreams to be really interesting, especially the people who have never done the mentioned drug before in real life. I wonder what the effect in a dream would be if the dreamer were to take a drug that they know nothing about.

I had a really strange dream once where I, for some reason, drank cocaine(really strange). It didn't do anything to me except make me feel like my heart was racing(I've never had cocaine before in real life). Later on I had a drink of alchohol (maybe some LSD somewhere in there which I also haven't tried in real life). The alchohol at one point made me extremely drunk, I was completely uncoordinated and could barely function(somehow I was able to stand up though). It only lasted a little while, but it was very intense and somewhat scary(I have drank in real life). So I think having used the drug before is what allows you to get the high because you have something to reference.

Can't say that I remember a dream where I was smoking, but I've had quite a number of dreams where I roll (or at least try too).

In most of those dreams I consume a variety of pills and all Iget is that anxious feeling you get just before the roll kicks in, but I've never rolled face in a dream.

Ive smoked a few times while dreaming (use it as a good dreamsign in the future).

I was with a friend waiting for a bus. Somthing to pass the time i guess.

But i always used to dream about mara-ja-wanna, when i first gave up, i kept finding huge containers of the stuff (like the size of a coke bottles) i wish i had become aware that i way dreaming at that time (lol).

I have been reading a book (A Million Little Pieces) and it is about the author's experience going through rehab after being addicted to cocaine, crack, alcohol, and sniffing glue. At one point a couple of days after he last had any of the substance he would have dreams that were extremely vivid that consisted of him being in a room with a lot of each drug and he would just do as much as he could as fast as he could until there was nothing left. When he would wake up he would still seem to have the effects somewhat. Apparently these types of dreams are very common among recovering addicts. The author is James Frey and it is a really awesome book to read if you are interested in seeing inside the mind of a severe addict.

I was a smoker for 11 years and never smoked a cigarette in my dreams until after I had quit.

IVe smoked marijuana in dreams numerous times , never in lucid dremas though. Weird thing is one time i got highg, like i felt the high feeling and the other i was questioning wether i was high or not, and didnt really do anything. But even when i was smoking i dont really remember the action oif smoking, it was more centered around the act of like people being in a room smoking marijuan rather then the sensation of me inhaling smoke in my lungs and then exhaling.
THe next time i have a LD i will definately try smoking, although, and tell me if ne one agrees with me here, its like sometimes even when your controlling your dreams, you (like ur actual mind) is not really in control, its almost like a version of urselfin a dream, that knows its a dream. like you know your dreaming and that your in control but you might still do something you wouldnt nomrlly decide to do.
