Last night I started using digital tape to record my rundown of dreams.

The reason I tried this is because when I wake up in the middle of the night and I want to right down my dream, I have to turn on the light, enjoy one of those "ow, my eyes" headaches, write down the stuff (illegibly), and then have trouble getting back to sleep. My idea is that with the tape recorder I can roll over, press record, talk about the dream, then go back to sleep. Last night was a good night, I probably recorded 5-6 dreams (I also had taken magnesium and a b-complex).

My questions are for those who have used this method:
Should I copy these over to paper and pencil/pen, or will they serve their purpose when I play them over before I go to bed? How have you implemented this method? Any other suggestions?

Also, this question is for everybody:
After doing this dream journal thing for over two years now, I can't read all of my entries before I go to sleep... I'd have to get started at like 3 in the afternoon and I'd only get through the first few months. What should I do as far as archiving and what should I be looking over before I go to sleep?

Lastly, DC's have been accusing me of messing around with their girlfriend's. I keep trying to assure them that I'm not, but with all of the time gaps in dreams, I don't sound too convincing. Should I just slap them upside the head with a trout and run away?

Thank you.
Mr. Id.
