      Lack of dreams recently.....?

Lately mabey the past week or even more, i've had a sudden drop in dream recall......I had a pretty good level of dream recall before this happened, actually knowing and picturing parts of the dreams throughout the night, some nights up to 3-5 dreams that i know took place....yet i couldn't name the particulars of them. Recently they have dropped down ALOT, down to possibly 1-2 that i remember if even that....some mornings i wake up with no recolection of the dreams through the night......Recently i got a new job.....and school has ended....any ideas why this lack of dream recall has taken place?

The last dream i remember was 2 nights ago and it was a dream where I was in this house, and it was some wierd shit.........I was in this room with a few of my friends and i happened to seem like i was in this video game, where these half people/half machine things were after us....there were some wierd combinations of beings that were chasing us around the house, some had flamethrowers as arms and others would be creatures from the hellraiser series, could shoot stuff out of there faces and were just straight wierd. I happened to be the last one to be chased around the house and ended up taking a few of them out someway or another.....after that i don't remember......I've had this particular theme once or twice in my life that i remember.....It didn't scare me but it was just strange.

Since that dream......I've seldom remembered another dream....

      Have you slept enough?

When I got my first full-time job, I stopped remembering most of my dreams. I think my change in hours screwed up my circadian rhythms. I used to sleep until 8, but suddenly I had to start getting up at 6. Not having that extra 2 hours of sleep really messed me up.

I wish I could say that going to bed a little earlier helped, but it didn't. The only thing that brought my dreams back to their former level was changing my work hours to start later in the day. It's like my body insists on sleeping certain hours.

So ... has your sleep schedule changed?

Its probably just a dry spell. That happens sometimes to many people. Dont worry..it'll pass soon enough. just be persistent and patient. Also dont stress over it. That just makes it worse.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
