A slight problem - help appreciated

Hey guys, so I've been having a bit of a problem the last few LD's. The problem is that I will become lucid, and despite my drive to accomplish goals within my LD, I never seem to even so much as think of them while I'm dreaming. I have no problem with recall - quite the opposite. I remember five dreams from last night, and I was at the lab late working, so I think they were probably all that I had. I became lucid in the first one, and was very aware of everything, so much so that I woke myself up at the end of it when it was getting fuzzy to DEILD.

If anyone could tell me of a good method to remember goals, it would be appreciated greatly. (I know it's pathetic that I can't do this)

      Thanks guys,
      Borislav

If I ever have trouble remembering goals then I write them down over and over on a piece of paper and keep telling myself that they are really important to me to complete in a lucid dream. Pretty soon, I will have the goal(s) memorized and in my dreams I can just remember them.

Another good method I use is to visualize yourself becoming lucid, and remembering to complete the goals right away. Then imagine yourself actually completing those goals.

If you still can't remember them you can always try to find a dream character and ask them what your goals are. Good luck!

Thanks for the help. The only problem for me is that it's not the goal remembering which I have a problem with. It's the remembering that I have the goals. I will try what you said, as it does seem as though it can help. Thanks a million!

Ahh okay. Well you can always just tweak my techniques. You could write down "I have goals" instead of your goals, and the visualization thing will still work. Good luck!

I have the same issue. I can think of a million things to do in an LD right now but every time I find myself in one, I'm not quite sure what to do and end up flying around a bit or just losing it. I think this is largely due to poor control. I would focus on a task before hand, i.e. "I am dreaming. Dream guide appear" over and over before sleep.
