Excited/Scared at once?

Okay, the other night I was kidnapped in my dream by two men. I was obviously scared in my dream... cowering, crying, all that jazz, but at the same time, I was very excited, as if I was also watching a movie of it happening. It's so difficult to describe, but I love kidnapping dreams a lot because they all feel like there's so much energy.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I had a dream today, I walked into some kind of construction site. I was following this guy and we ran into this path. He was really far ahead of me and I was trying to catch up but then I just stop and I look around.

There was dynamite all over and I hear them saying they going to set it off, so I turn around and I RUN. Then it goes off and there is a huge explosion, I just get away but I am covered in dirt. I think its safe to say the first person was dead, and in 1000 years when they find his bones they will think there was an unground race of humans or something.

I would have to say that is the scariest thing I have ever seen, but there was no fear. Not once during the dream was I even slightly scared. I was to busy running!

Interesting dream.
It sounds with your acknowledgment of the dream being like a movie & the exhilaration that your conciuous mind might just be waiting there for you to graspthat your in a dream. This type of dream could be your ticket into Lucidity.

Does that make any sense?

definitely! I hope next time I realize i should be scared to death and then see that it's a dream!

I've only been kidnapped once in my dreams...(that i know of), but i became lucid and jumped out of thier truck, and ran away... it was kind of cool, considering I don't become lucid very often.
