      Realism is Lucid Dreams

When school starts, and i finish all the summer reading reports, id like to try lucid dreaming again. I used to be at it everyday for months but couldnt get the hang of it (only a few lucids). But i can't remember, are the dreams realistic, as real as real life or even more? because the only lucids i remember had really bad vividness and were just like me imagining something (no realness).

I find that a Real, Real Lucid dream, is one that indulges all of your senses, and maybe a few others. I find that most of my dreams have that brain fog feeling, kind of like you've been discombobulated, or have amnesia. The usual. But a memorable and vivid dream in which you know is a dream, would be a legitimate lucid dream.

When I was starting out, my lucids were kind of blurry and ended quickly. Once I learned to stabilize it, my lucids became extremely vivid and clear. They seemed as real as real life, and sometimes seem even realer.

Currently that is my problem. My dreams end very quickly because I think to much about it. I'm in a constant struggle to keep my dream going.

Your dreams are as real and vivid as you make them, but this can only be produced with practice and determination. When I first began having "lucid dreams" they were usually quick and unsatisfying. I was never capable of seeing much or doing much. As I practiced and recorded more, the detail in my dreams and the stabilization began to improve. I would say that now my dreams look, but only look, real. I still have not gotten to the level where everything sounds, tastes, feels, etc as it does in reality. But it is definitely possible, even when I have dreams that only look real I get somewhat uneasy as to whether I'm actually dreaming or not. But with practice I hope to overcome this and eventually have amazing lucids. Just keep practicing and keep your head up, you'll get there eventually. Every lucid you have on the way will be sweet and enjoyable as you see your progress. Good luck.
