What if you were born on a different day?

What if you were born on a different day than you really were? Or concieved on a totally different day. Would you be the same person? Would you be you?

Your use of 'you' in the question already assumes that But if you phrased the question differently, like "What if your mother gave birth to someone in a different time/place/way than you, instead of the way you were born? Would that person be you?". Then, hmm, probably it would not. That person would almost certainly grow up to have different life experiences, and so result with a different personality, opinions, ideas, skills, etc, even if they had the exact same genetic make-up. If their genes were different, then they would naturally form physically differently, so they'd be somebody else for sure.

I would guess that coincidences form your personality so who knows, maybe, maybe not.

OMG if peanut butter were apples i would be so dissapointed!!!! i love peanut butter! & i dip apples in peanut butter as matter of fact....so then it would be like dipping apples in apples = no fun! & the taste would absolutly drop! Lets hope the day when peanut butter & apples taste the same never comes!!!!

yes I totally agree, if peanut butter suddenly turned into apples the economy of peanut butter would suddenly fall... the world would be in utter havok as the peanut butter lovers took up their guns and began to shout consperacy only to find that when they overthrough the government they have destroyed their way of life and the ways of millions.

There are two things that determine ones existance The first, being the environment...different areas or places you grow up in determine how you really turn out as a person not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. The second is your social circle...those who are around you growing up...these people determine how you deal with the rest of society, and yourself, as well as your dreams... This topic reminds me of the FATE OR FREE WILL discussion...destiny or no destiny kinda thing... but that was my explination of it all... cheers.
