I think I experienced something similar like that this morning also. I was half asleep and awake and I was dreaming or something. I was waiting for a show to go on and I was sort of dozing off till it came on. I didn't have enough time to realize if it was a dream because it only lasted a few minutes and at the same time I think I was aware of my surroundings. I entered the dream really fast. I barely noticed going into the dream.

A Little off-topic: My dream was about A Lost Soul strangely. In this dream I was not in it. I was merely a watcher, just to observe what was going on. It took place in a diner and these 2-3 guys were sitting down and lost soul came inside and sat on the stool. The guys then somehow saw this forum and saw the posts lost soul had made and started making fun of her. lost soul then turned around and gave dirty looks. Then it ended. The dream was very fuzzy and very short. This was very odd for me because I dont think this ever happened to me. Going into a short random dream so fast(w/o even noticing), while slightly aware of my surroundings. This experience was similar to my precog. that I had a while ago....

      MILD, perhaps? I dunno.

I have those as well. In fact, it's useful to wake up for a while in the morning, then go back to sleep. According to some old book, you're 70% more likely to LD.

Hm. I'm not sure what that's called. I know what you mean, though. Sometimes the most solid LDs I have are during the time when I'm awake and asleep.

Apparently I also do strange things during that time, too. Like, when my ex used to ask me "hon, where are my keys?" I would (while still asleep) get up out of bed, walk to the exact place where he'd left his keys, pick them up, hand them to him, kiss him goodbye and tell him to have a nice day at work. I would then crawl back into bed and not remember a damn thing until he told me about it later. Another time, he asked what someone's phone number was because he couldn't remember it. In my half-sleep/half-waking state (which, in my opinion is still sleeping, just another level), I rattled off the number. What was more shocking was that it was the correct number!

But anyway, before I digress too much, I really don't know what that state is called or why LDs seem to be so much more controllable (is that a word? It is now).

Isnt it a sort of WILD?
You wake up earlier then normal in weekends, then go back to sleep and have LDs...

I have them to. But then not-lucid. :'(

Whatever they are I wish I could more of them.

Off-topic: CT I know this may sound rude, but can you please change your signature to something smaller so that we won't have to keep scrolling to the right and left. It's annoying. I'm not forcing you, but it would make reading a lot easier. Please think about it.

MILD is waking from a dream and then re-entering it fully lucid.

      controllable is a word!

I see the words I and us in it. The rest are blurred.

I see I'm at the beginning and ME at the end.

Maybe not the ME but I'm pretty sure it say's I'm at the beginning.

In the early morning, the line between REm and waking is VERY thin. I think your mind crosses back and forth across this line many times.
