      first lucid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weird though

For the past few nights i have tried something on my own, everynight ive tried to 'push' myself out of myself. Then the other night it worked, i think i fell asleep and i tried pushing and i felt really strange, so then i reached around me and felt a face. i turned around and it was my face! i was really calm and i tried to go through my wall. but i ended up slamming into it, so i walked out of my door and i ended up into a dream.
weird thing is after everyone of my dreams, i shot straight into an upright position and i couldnt move, then i went into another lucid dream, it happend 5 or 6 times. after every dream ended,i shot up,made a weird sound, then went into another dream,i was lucid in about 5 or 6 dreams in one night! im so happy!

Sure you didn't engage in astral travelling by mistake?
Forcing yourself out of your body, seeing yourself from a third-person perspective and the fact that you had what seemed to be dream after dream, seems like it was more of a astral projection.

From what I've read (I've never had a lucid dream, although it has been proven in some of my NDs), mechanics either never work, or they always mess up.. Same with light switches and such.. Guess it is just not so natural (e.g. electricity running through wires to light up one object may be a little too much for your brain to process with all the other stuff going on).

From memory, my ND have included driving.. although the car was just moving, not sure how much control there was over the vechile, if any.

Except for Astrally projecting into the lowest of all Astral Planes, that one which roughly overlaps the Physical World, there is not a shread of difference between Dreaming and Astral Projecting. The places to which one can go are absolutely the same.

Things do not always have to not work. it does say something, though, when all of the Major Authorities in Lucid Dreaming report that NOTHING IN THEIR DREAMS WORKS CORRECTLY. Hmmmmm? What does that tell us about their purported expertise?

So, no, it is not necessary that everything break down, and that cars be out of control. These are Warnings. Now it may be indicating how generally dysfunctional our Society is that it seems that everybody is getting similar warnings. But I have had dreams in which the appliances worked in and which the little automobiles behaved correctly and responded well to my control inputs. But that is because I have spent years addressing myself to answering the Warnings given to me in my dreams. What is out of control in my life or my dreaming? What is not working in my life or my dreaming. If one can fix these things and solve these problems then one can have dreams where the cars, lights and plumbing all work and where the trains all run on time.
