      Gah, I can't believe I didn't recognize I was dreaming.

Man, I was so close to becoming lucid last night, there were so many things sticking out that should have made me realize I was dreaming. First, I encountered one of my friends that moved a half a year ago, then, the dream took place in a Woman's locker room....and everybody in the locker room was a guy. There were a lot of little things that should have made it obvious...I guess I just have to get used to trying to do reality checks.

Don't worry about it. I've had a lot of LDs, but I still often dream about all kinds of impossible things without realizing that I'm dreaming. It will come. Just keep working on your dream recall, and try to remember the "feeling" that you had when you were in the dream. At some point you'll learn to recognize that feeling, and you'll know that something isn't quite right. That's when you can do a RC and confirm that you are dreaming.

Don't beat yourself up. Stressing about it will only hurt the process.

Weird things always happen in my dreams and I've never had an LD.

Your not the only one with problems like these.
