Thread: Dream Inventions

I just awoke from a dream that had this crazy syntisizer instrament in it. You can read about it in my dream journal if you like. But my question to you all is this:

Have you ever seen something in your dreams that didn't exist in real life?

I guess a follow up question would be was it something you woke up and thought should exist?

I remember in my dream being really excited to see this instrament I'd never even heard of before. So I'm wondering if my mind is creating something I wish existed, or if was just completely out of the blue.

I don´t think if i understood you completely but I once was in a kind of lucid dream where i could jump very high and couldn´t wait for waking up cuz i was sure that i could do it in reality to.. I think the same sensation has happend to with objects but im not very sure, just have a vague idea.

Always people tell me about their nightmares about when there parents die or something.
Has it happend to you that you create memorys and get used to them, sometimes in my dreams people tell me tragic thing and i create instand memorys that i already knew.

Doesn´t that happen to anybody?

I have had many ideas come into mind because of my dreams. None of them were lucid though.
Two Ideas I have had, I am trying to get patended! The others were inspirations for paintings.

Our subconscious has a lot to tell us.

I bet we'de be surprized how many inventions or strokes of genius have taken place in dreams. It's like our minds get enough peace and quit to put things together.
I've wrote songs in my dreams that sounded really good, but forgot them when I woke up.

Some famous inventor sat in a chair infrotn of a faire with two metal balls in his hands with pots on the ground so when he went to sleep he would drop the balls wake up and would write down what he heard, or ayleast thats a story they tell, not sure how usefull it is

Ive had dreams where Ive been making an invention or something but that was before I got into lucid dreaming and it was just nonsense what I made

I had this dream where I had a baggy of little balls. Those similar of those "LIQUID ICE" mints. But I had soo many of different colors. It looked really cool. The thing was.. they were like future media balls... like u dropped um in a machine like a gumball machine and it would roll down and then fall into place... then they would play music. And in my dream I got some out of a cereal box. Kind of like those give aways for kids.. and so I had soo many of them. It was really cool.

i had a dream where i was walking around in some halo type hall shooting those sentinal flying thingys. the thing was i was there in the dream but controlling it all with some futuristic controller. it was like a horizontal bar that u would push or pull or just move in anyway to move in the game/dream. kinda like those huge lawnmowers with the horizontal bar that u push on either side to get it to move automatically move. i woke up and thought that would be cool as heck if it were real. unlike what you probably think now he who reads this

I know that the person who invented the sewing machine, I think it was Elias Howe , I am not 100% sure on that. But I remember the story. He had almost all of the sewing machine functioning except for one mental block. How to get the needle to work.
He had a dream where he was surrounded by warriors on all sides, with him in the middle. They all held spears. At the end of each spear was a hooked shaped needle that you would see on a sewing machine today.
