      Lucid Dream Memory

Hey i'm a bit new to LD'ing and i was wondering how easy it is to remember a lucid dream compared to normal dreams.

If u were bothered to read this far, i thank thee

P.S. My dad goes to sleep realy late at like 2:45 and i was wondering if it would help if he just said "reality check" to me whilst i was sleeping. i thought that i might here him in my sleep and do my RC's in my sleep (fingers crossed).

      Thanks again

Titles are only shown bold to you when you have not read a thread yet or there are new posts i believe.
Also I dont really think that the whisper thing would work.
I had success with DEILD technique after about 2 years of trying on and off but lots of people get results faster. Just always record your dreams in a dream journal and dont get lazy and forget or else it wont work as effectivley. Imporve your recall so you can remember atleast one dream a night and then just keep practicing techniques. Improve your awarness by noticing everything around you in waking life (then you may notice things dont seem right in a dream) and try to practice RC's but dont do it mindlessly.
If you do DEILD or WBTB you need to try to time your alarm for when your in a REM cycle or else it wont be as effective.

You dont have to make three posts it just makes people think your trying to constantly bump your thread theres an edit button.

Hi there! Since lucid dreaming is a separate state of consciousness from REM or waking consciousness, the brain is activated in a different way. For example, the aminergic neuromodulatory system, which has been implicated in our ability to form new memories, is more active in lucid dreaming than in REM. So it makes sense that it may be easier to remember lucid dreams than REM dreams.
