This thread is made for the people who are completely new to the wonderfull experience we call lucid dreaming. I hope some people will find this usefull.
I feel that there is a lot of confusion in this forum about what lucid dreaming really is, so let's start there. Lucid dreaming is being aware in ur dream that ur dreaming, it is as simple as this, even if you feel 'completely' powerless in ur dream.
When i take a look on this forum, i see a lot of people asking themself "why can't i lucid dream, while others can?", and then they just give up. Lucid dreaming is a progress, this is very important to understand! Sure, some people are getting there first lucid dream faster then others, but this is the same thing as with any other skill out there. This is how the world works! (Just think about music, drawing, sport, painting.. etc)
You probably already had multiple lucid dreams, but u just don't remember them. So the first thing you need to do is start working on your dream recall! This is not a tutorial or anything like that. But i will provide tutorials below this thread that will be usefull for you. I strongly advice you to read them, and try some out! All the information u will find here, u can find there aswell, but in more detail.
If u wanna have lucid dreams frequently, you need to take it step by step. Getting ur first lucid dream can be quite hard, but it is worth it! And i think many people on here will agree on this!
