This has happened in several of my none-lucid dreams but usually to destinations that are not directly in sight. Say I'm on the beach and want to be in a hotel or a car somewhere I teleport there without actually intending to. |

So recently I have been noticing that in my dreams I don't literally walk to destinations I actually kind of teleport there... I'm not saying it's the change of a dream but like the other night, (in dream)I was standing in the garage of my house and then when I wanted to exit I kind of just teleported to my drive-way??? Is this common to all people's dreams? If not I'm going to record it as a dream sign and begin to manage how I get to places. |

I notice what is more like a scene change in a movie. This is normal for me. Dreams seem longer this way as your brain assumes a time lapse. |

Im pretty sure this happens to everyone in a non lucid or not too vivid dream. You wake up and look back on a dream and you think to yourself..."Hey, how did i get from my house to the beach?" I also agree with Rothgar that these occurrences is like a scene change in a movie. Also a lot of times that would happen to people is that dream characters would sort of replace each other during a story line. Happens to the best of us, though it can sometimes be annoying since it can take away from the awesomeness of a dream. Good luck! |

Yeah my dreams are always like that. I was at the foot of a Mayan temple and the next moment I was at the top! |
