I have this EXACT problem |
|
I have been having a strange problem with my eyes staying shut while trying WILDs, even when its very early in the process. But lately its been getting worse, I cannot even attempt a WILD, and its starting to affect my regular sleep, for when I even THINK (no matter how briefly), of lucid dreams while I am trying to go to sleep, my eyes start to tremble, move around under my eyelids uncontrollably, and they feel like their rolling up into my head. It was really bad last night, it took about an hour and a half to fall asleep and I was very tired. |

For me its not like a pushing pain - it feels like my eyes are going crazy and like someone is pulling my elelids open. I have tried the thing santa suggested - visualization and trying to drift off. It didnt really work and it made it worse. I wrapped a long sleeve shirt around my eyesnd it helped - but the knot in the back was uncomfortable and when I turned the knot to the side it didnt help. I was thinking about getting a sleeping mask. The gel mask sounds like a good idea. I'll try it out if this persists. |
