      My LD's have stopped completely.

Well, I'm a natural LDer. My story is a very odd one, but I'll try and condense it.

I figured out about LDing when I was young and had a few where I had very little control. I found this site about 6-7 months ago and promptly after that started having extremely vivd (I'm talking indistinguishable from real life kind of vivid) LD's by myself. I'd have a dream and suddenly go "Oh wait! I'm dreaming!" and I would have full control over everything.

About three months ago they stopped completely. I didn't post anything on here because I had read that they usually just come back. It's odd. I never used to remember any of my dreams unless I LD'd. I now dream normally every night, but I have trouble with remembering all the details in the morning and I *NEVER* become lucid or anywhere even close to that.

I might have to try some methods pretty soon, which I was hoping to avoid. WILD's don't work for me at all and they seem to be the best method for inducing them once you can do it.

Any advice on what may be causing this dry spell would be helpfull, as I'm kind of lost.

have you had a change in diet, lifestyle or medication (especially painkillers and ANY SORT fo anti-depressant). Diet could mean that you are taking less vitamin b6 which has been found have give people vivid dreams, lifestyle would be like a move in house, new boyfriend/girlfriend new job etc, medication is obious but proboly a big cause, prescription painkillers are mostly opiod anagelestics (but alot of over 60s get prescribed aspirin to thin their blood to help prevent heart attack), brand names such as OxyContin (oxycodone controlled release), Dilaudid (hydromorphone), MS-Contin (morphine controlled release), vicodin (hydrocodone), kapake (codine + paracetamol), co-coamol (same as kapake, just less codeine) these kind of drugs (opiods, not anti-depressants) depress the CNS (slowed heartbeat, slowed breathing, although these are normally symtoms of recreational use)they may help you sleep and thus just making you forget your dreams, anti-depressants can also cause this as they work on the part of the brain that controlls mood (SSRIs), others work with the brains reward pathways (MAOIs) and others work with the brains natural stimulant, norepinedrine (SNRIs), all of these...except meaby SNRIs, are thought to be involved in dreams and thus may prevent dreams altogether..or maybe screw with your recall. Though this could just be due to stress. Have have you been feeling latly, anything major happen, if so please reply with what, if we know we may be be able to help furthur.

If you kill 6 people in Unreal Tournament it is a Monsterkill, in Quake 3 it is Excellent and in Counter Strike it is "Kicked By Console".

Well I did just get a new girlfriend, but that was quite recent.

I also used to take a multivitamin for a while, but I stopped recently. Perhaps I should start taking that again.

School ended for me about a month ago, and as such I've become much more nocturnal and relaxed.

I don't take any drugs though. I'll check and see if my vitamin has any B6 in it, and start aking it again to see if that makes a difference (I should probably be taking it anyways.)

Thanks a lot for your very helpfull post!
