WILD method and meditation.
I've been trying to achieve steady dream control and lucidity for months. I don't usually have typical nightmares, mostly just REALLY anxiety ridden dreams. I wanted to start using lucidity and control as a way of escaping these cyclical dreams. I have initial insomnia and AD/HD (I believe they are related and my anxiety makes it worse.) Meditation is very difficult for me but I recently found some methods that work fairly well at clearing my mind. The problem that I have is that I have attempted WILD before (once I actually did it but quickly lost lucidity) and most of the time since I learned how to meditate properly I don't end up sleeping at all. I found one night that I had meditated for 4 hours just trying to achieve a wake induced lucid dream. I guess my brain is still too active but what can I do about that? Also, any tips on dream control? I'm often much weaker in my dreams then in real life, as though my arms are limp noodles.
