Thread: YOUR first lucid?

So how/when did you people have your first lucid dream?

I'll start: when I was little (8 maybe), I realized that I could open my eyes in reality if I wanted to end my nightmares during the night. This meant that I had to first realize when one was occurring. The next step was to understand that I could do anything I wanted in dreams. So I ended up using special powers to fight the demons in my dreams.

So what about you?

I guess technically when i was young and had nightmares and would realize it was all a dream and close my eyes to wake up. If only i could do that now.

My first lucid dream was 2 years ago. It started out as a regular dream which I don't really remember, but I remember me being outside my hallway and realizing i was dreaming. After I realized I was dreaming, I was excited but i remembered to stay calm. I started to run super fast and It felt amazing I also got into a sword fight. That was about it.

Mine was short and uneventful. It was about a month after I found this forum. I was stranding on a dock on this lake when I saw my neighbor walking towards me. Something just clicked and I knew I was dreaming. I was about to stabilize when I was sucked up into the sky and woke up. Nothing fun, but it led to many more experiences down the line

I was small, maybe around 8 or 9, and had one of those out in public with no clothes on dreams, then realized it was a dream and I didn't care. I think I ended up clothed.

My first was when I was around 7 or 8, it was interesting for a few other reasons besides just being lucid for 1 second.

I had a dream where I was playing around in bed thinking about the TV show Recess, I had a false awakening, looked over the edge of the bed, saw my clock turn into a mermaid, my little brother started eating my arm, I realized it was a dream and opened my eyes.

What made it interesting was that the time on the clock was the same in my dream and in real life, and I woke up in the position I was in the dream.

Mine happened a few months ago. It's a very random DILD. I dreamed I woke up, went to my kitchen to drink a glass of water, and then noticed my refrigerator was in my living room. That triggered my lucidity. Then I promptly think: I'll bang a chick. Right now. Then I go to the apartment below mine (through the walls of course) and see myself fucking a hot chick. I go there, join myself (lol) and we fuck the bitch. Pretty fun stuff, but because I was not a experienced LDer back then, the excitement woke me up. Feels bad man.,
