      Peter Pan and Lucid Dreaming

Here's a blog post on all the connections I'v found in the book
and the movies of Peter Pan that I think relates to lucid dreaming
and the out-of-body experience in general. And a bit more.

      Tell me what you think.

      Peace

I don't know, for me it seems like a fantasy story that happens to have elements in it, that also often appear in dreams. It's quite hard to say if it was inspired by lucid dreaming, but I don't believe it.

I haven't done that much research into J. M. Barrie so I don't know. But I agree. I actually don't think that he was inspired by lucid dreaming either. But I think certain authors get "inspired" by higher forces (who perhaps knows a great deal about the nature of the higher dimensions) so it sort of flows through them if they are attuned. But I like the symbolism in the movies though.

Well imagination, dreams the human psyche and all that... it's all one and the same. So even if not inspired by lucid dreams, the source is the same.

Interesting post. I know of a few famous authors, painters, etc inspired by dreaming/lucid dreaming. I've also heard Alice and Wonderland was inspired by a lucid dream!

I second that! I know that the Peter Pan movie was made by Disney and Walt Disney used his dreams for inspiration for everything he did. Maybe there is a connection between them!
