      Morning Nap Technique

      Hey,

I was reading up on this guy who's having the workshop on October 2nd in Alexandria, VA (from this post) and came across this interview with a person whom I'd actually spoken to briefly on the phone recently (nothing deep) which led me to this other link about the Morning Nap Technique (from LeBerge's lucidity institute).

Not sure if we had this in our tutorials but thought it might be a good read for some.
      Enjoy!

i can vouch for this technique, before i knew about it, one day i fell asleep on the couch after finding out i had awoken 1 hour earlier than i should have. i had already eaten, and had a shower, and was ready for school, so i slept for an hour, in that time i had one of my most vivid LDs. I havent been able to try this again. So, for me, this technique has a 100% success rate

I've always meant to do this technique more often, as it worked for me once, but I hate sleeping in with a passion lol. I find that if I get up for an hour and go back to sleep I feel sick or really groggy afterwards, and this has always deterred me from doing it. I guess I should start doing it again, seeing as it's the only technique that I have had any results with.

Does anyone else feel sick or groggy after a morning nap?

Hmm, thanks for the article. I'll read it in the evening to persue my idea about intriguing new concepts transfering into dreams.

I usually feel horrible after day time naps but not after morning naps seeing as I don't even get out of bed. Then again I may not be understanding what a morning nap is correctly yet so I'll read that article first.
