That kind of thing happens every now and then, especially to beginners. There's every chance that your sleeping pattern could've been at the end of a REM cycle, so there was no way of stopping it anyway. Maybe try just looking at your hands to help with stabilization, that tends to help me, whereas yelling things gets me nowhere. |

Yeah the first time I tried spinning on about my 3rd Lucid Dream it didn't work. |

If you only have the skills to do so you can experience anything you can imagine as real.
Hmm, that was my 6 Lucid Dream, and actually the first time I ever remembered to do that stabilyzation tehnique. |

Spinning isn't a Stabilisation Technique, it's a Linking Technique and a very effective one once you are used to it! |

oh, I thought different hmm... |

Same thing happened to me once or twice in the life time that it didn't work. Or maybe I didn't shout loud enough - it felt so awkward, lol. |

Anything that engages you with the dream can work as a stabilizing technique. Spinning and rubbing hands are common techniques because of how simple they are to do. When spinning don't just go round and round, give yourself one good spin and that's it. Continuous spinning might cause the environment to warp and change. |
