Celebratory Post: first real lucid dream!

I don't post here much because I really don't have much to contribute. Historically I am a really bad dreamer and couldn't tell anyone anything about a lucid dream. I have been using you guys as my information go to and with your help I have gotten what I was looking for!

      Story time:

My journey begins Jan 2011. At this time I have 0 dream recall. But I make it my mission to haveva lucid dream. I start a dream journal and begin my research.

Working my dream recall was very slow. What find that worked best for me were WBTB- my dreams started only as fragments but in can recall up to 2-3 a night.

Sometime in february I had a glimpse at a lucid dream. I was sleeping in bed with my gf and I did a reality check in dream - saw that I had 7 fingers and ten flew up into the sky and saw an impressive dreamscape but woke up and then was followed by 4-5 FAs.

After that I really wanted to push myself. Shortly after that I experimented with B6 one night on a wbtb and had a really freaky SP experience. At this point I realize that WILDs were possible. Though ibdidnt not become lucid I felt all the trippy experiences of.one with out knowing what was happening to me.

In the past few weeks I got yushaks book and begin my experimentation with Galatamine. 4mg doses with 200mg choline. The first 2 times I couldn't not fall back to sleep at all or get any relaxation.
Each attempt was a week apart. I did some more research here and saw that theanine has helped people.

Last night on a wbtb I took 200mg of theanine with 2/3 of the galatmind pill. And I would say I had a bonafide ld expeirence.

It started with a FA but I did a reality check. Stabalized myself to achieve clarity and was able to.consciousnessly decide what to.do next. I tried to fly but I was very slow and clumsy. Very hard to talk at first and I was able to go.to my friends house to say hi. All in all it was probably 5-10 minutes long. But I am impressed with it.

Gonna try again in a couple nights. Maybe ill be able to actually have informed things to say soon!

Sounds like you're improving a lot! Looking forward to hearing more about your LD journey ;D

I personally have never experimented much with my diet in terms of lucid dreaming so I can't really say much about that. Keep up with the dream journal though, it's worth the effort to improve your recall. As far as actual dream control, just remember to be really confident and relaxed throughout. Doubting your abilities is one of the things that will inhibit your movement in a dream.
