      oneirophobia

Never thought it would happen to me. All of the sudden while I was lying in bed i began to think about dreams and nightmares. I started to sweat and breathe really fast. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

were you still fully awake when you started feeling this way?

      Dear Cole,

No one has anxiety attacks regarding pleasant dreams, so it can be easily inferred that you are worried about nightmares. If you can't remember any nightmares frightful enough to warrant such concern, then I suppose you have had nightmares which your conscious mind does not remember, but which are recalled by enough of my mind for the anxieties to come through.

Now, we should remember that nightmares are not gratuitous. People are damned to the hell of nightmares because of some karma somewhere demands some justice or balance. Individuals may believe themselves innocent, and for young people, this may be true, but then these young people were not created out of a vacuum, and so the children do indeed carry forward the guilt of their parents... or merit, if there is any. If you can really look at your own life history and not discern the reason for your punishment at the hands of the demons of the night, then look into your own family history. The Sins of the fathers will be visited upon their sons.

But we need not be entirely fatalistic. Lives can be reformed. Bad Karma can be lived down. If you are having nightmares, then you need to lift your life out of this Darkness. Yes, one can use Dreaming in one's overall plan for Moral Regeneration, yet Dreaming would not be enough. If one is having serious nightmares, then there is a serious problem in one's entire life, and any solution will have to be integral and synthetic. You must make yourself a New Person -- one who does not have nightmares, that is, a Rightous person free of guilt and blameless before his God.

just dont think about it. Think of other things and occupy your mind on something calm and peaceful. Also it could be what ophelia said. Sometimes once you are on the verge of WILD, you're heart rate increases and such for some reason and you get excited/hot. Just the room expectionally cool to
