Dream related music in lucid dreams.

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone else shares this experience. I find that in a lot of my lucid dreams I often find there are dream characters singing, or just a general soundtrack that is about dreaming itself. Stranger still, for some reason my brain seems to default to choosing 1950s style music to do this, not that I have any particular fondness for it in waking life. Still for some reason the slight hint of eeriness to this kind of music seems to fit the mood of dreams. Good example is last night, I found myself walking down a street and there were a group of girls singing.... Obviously had to reality check at this! So this has become a bit of a dream sign for me. Thought it would be a nice thread to hear what music is appearing in other peoples dreams...

The music in my dreams has the melody of songs that I know but different words. The dream characters I'm with are usually singing them but other times they're just classical or background music to enhance the mood of an exciting or scary moment. I usually wake up with them in my head and immidiately write down the words I heard or anything else I can remember about them. Since I don't really have any experience with writing music the songs are usually forgotten after a few hours though.

I wish I could play music. I swear the songs and music I hear are amazing, but I don't know how to replicate it and usually forget it about an hour after waking up :/
