Thread: Are lucid dreams about the deceased more refreshing than regular dreams?

Does it feel like the lucid dream brings more closure with a deceased relative as opposed to a regular dream?

Not quite sure. The increase in awareness would allow you to ask more sensible and/or important questions, but dream control, even if its only slight, could lead to you only hearing what you want to. A bit of a mixed bag, I'd imagine.

Well in a lucid dream I suppose you would actually be there, and you could experience the deceased person as you would expect them to react. I think it's a personal thing, whether you would find either refreshing or not. Only really one way to find out!

yea refreshing isnt really the word that comes to mind here...

I don't see how it would be much different as long as you are able to achieve what you wanted. Value all dreams i say.

I've not had enough lucid experience yet to comment directly, but I have had vivid dreams that included deceased relatives. I do remember having an uplifting feeling, seeing them again as I remebered them - a sort of happy inside feeling.
It is one of my LD goals to interact with these memories of them to see what happens.
