some here are natural lucid dreamers and others practice techniques to induce them

I started off with a feeling of awe, and now I look for more the quality of my lucid dreams.

I dont like any ordinary ld, i like an extraordinary ld

Heh..the feeling of LDing is great, intense, and a great experience...You have total control, you can do anything you want without worries. It's great. I love the feeling....

yeah, I feel special in some ways for being able to lucid dream. Not special in a "short-bus" way though, heh.

That happens especially the morning after I have a very nice lucid dream. If I'm going to class, I walk the whole way with a smile at my face, looking at other people and thinking something along the lines of "hah, I know how it feels to fly, and you have NO idea how great it feels"

Dunno if i feel special since so many people can do it, or that is what it seems. But i think it is very cool to be able to LD and do that which you cannont do in real life. When ld'ing the possibilities are endless.

And if there was a sign or seal or something for ld'ing i wonder what it would look like

Let's have a contest! Whoever makes the best "Official" Lucid Dreaming Insignia will have their creation become the logo for all lucid dreamers. Well, probably not, but anyway...

      Could be fun.

O.K. Me dreamtamer007 Just kidding. Its 5:00 am and I'm not all the way awake yet. So maybe I'm dreaming. In that case, I'll be the universal symbol. Lol I'll be fully awake in a few. Doing a Wake And Back to Bed this morning. I hope it works. I’ll get serious about a symbol later on today.

      It's like a logo.

But then, I think we've already got one here at DV:

Though others might not correspond it with LDing quite so much as we DV members do.

I thought it was the humping smilies.

EDIT: Here's something I whipped up. Any suggestions for a picture to put in the middle are welcome.

some times it makes me feel like im expanding and using my mind in other ways that people not very often do, and having fun with it. I also feel really good about remembering alot of dreams, it feels like im not loosing time while i sleep. And in dreams there are so many important messages you can learn about.

the whole topic of Ld's been unique is very wierd for me, spoke to a mate a few days ago nd when i told her i had an awsome dream that i could control she looked at me sa if i had gone totally mad i cudnt believe that she cudnt do it, so ye its cool but i also think its damm scary... i mean what is it that sets us apart from the ppl that cannot, is it a state of mind? a increased awareness ofy ourself and the world or sumthing genetic?

Nothing but knowledge seperates LDers and non-Lders. Most anybody can learn it, with the only known exception being extreme sleep disorders that may prevent dreaming altogether. Other than that, it's a learned skill, and for some, an inborn talent. Still, there's nothing genetic that's been found that seperates those who can and cannot LD.

One of my favorite things about lucid dreaming is knowing that I can get back a couple hours of my life every night, and that those couple hours can always make me feel good. It also gives me a sense of accomplishment, because lucid dreaming requires a lot of mental focus, and not everybody has the discipline for that.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

      OK.

The eye's not that great, but then I had to engrave it myself.

Also I just realised it's a bit unrealistically wide-open. Oh well, next time.
