This was a very bizzar experience: in my dream i was in my room with 3 friends, i belive they were tickeling me, anyways they all started to sing 'A whole new world' from the movie Aladdin, i havent seen that movie in years, id say at least 10, anyways i think the lyrics are quite relivent to the topic of lucid dreaming, or lucid living, but either way here they are: I can show you the world Shining, shimmering, splendid Tell me, princess, now when did You last let your heart decide? I just had a dream kind of like a musical i just watched Kung Fu Hustle before i went to bed and then in my dream a bunch of people were walking towards me and they just stopped then they started doing the little axe gang dance in front of me i was standing there knowing i was dreaming and I was like wtf and started laughing it was pretty funny but anyways.....

For years I have been insisting that that the most efficient means of levitational flying is in the 'Magic Carpet' position -- with one's legs folded in the yoga "lotus position". This realization occurred to me decades ago when in a dream, while I was flying along in the low and slow ''Superman" position... dragging my belly and genitalia across the sky ... I was intercepted by a squadron of Magic Carpet Flyers, who could literally fly rings around me. They wore forest green robes with golden trim with matching turbans -- quite dashing. So, the next time I became Lucid, instead of taking to the air like silly superman, I levitated up in the lotus position, as though I were sitting on a Magic Carpet, and I took off like jet! I flew higher and faster than ever before. There is another way to levitate -- to start prone on one's back as though simulating the sleeping position, and then go straight up. One breaks through into Outer Space almost immediately, but for me, as soon as I broke through the atmosphere and the sky turned black and the stars came out, the sky unraveled and I found myself in an Out of Body Experience a few hundred feet above my house. But yes, we should all appreciate that there are better and worse ways to levitate, and levitating from the lotus position, as though upon a Magic Carpet seems to be very preferable. Indeed, once one of my Gurus happened upon me in a dream to teach me a lesson. He insisted I jump off of a balcony and he held me in our dive straight for the ground and would not allow me to pull up. We simply went into the Earth as though it were still air. It was fascinating watching the strata wizz by. When the point was made, we turned upward and launched into the air, and I noticed that his preferred way to levitate was from the lotus position.

I wonder how well you would fly if you just tried a completely random position. maybe kneel down with one finger in your ear and with the other make like you were eating a sandwich. *shrug*
