      SUPERGODS.

Why should we feel Inferior to certain Dream Characters. Religious Mumbo-Jumbo and Scientific Psycho-Babble just to put ut us in our inferior Human Mindset. Lowly Beings begging for scraps ???. Didn't the Dark ones once rule this Dirt Ball in the times of Total Chaos. Set Us Free. VELMA and A C of the dark arts. But what would the 'Freedom' entail. I mean was Mr Crowley right ????. Or could we really Sell Our Souls to the Devil ???. Maybe we should become 'Sun-Worshippers' again... Lowly Nothings with No Place To Go. Maybe in a couple of Hundred years We will realize we no longer need 'Mollycoddling' and set Ourselves free from all this Religion BullS***t. I mean to be totally Independent the human race has to free itself from this Belief in Saviours. We are where it is. LET'S FACE IT...................WE ARE ALONE. Your DC's are just You.......It's all reflections of YOU..........No Saviours..........Just You.............We are Alone.

What a lonely world yours must be... Sorry dreamboat, I am afraid there is place in my spiritual world for all of these things.

I do respect your opinion though
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Heh. i am an atheist and i don't think that 'spiritual mumbo-jumbo' exists. All those kind of stuff was created by the human race when not being able to explain something. Like in the ol' days, Why does lightning strike into the tall trees? God wants them to be destroyed! or something... still, you shouldn't force your beliefs on people that harsh Dreambot

You have only two choices --- between the Community of Love and Sharing which congeals around a God of Unity and who is attracted two and by the Angels and the Saints and the Beautiful Virgin Goddesses, or, on the other hand, those entities much like yourself who reject love, community, sharing, and simply want to rape, pillage and defile everything within their reach for whatever low pleasures they can obtain from such atrocities. You can chose between the Divine or the Demonic. You can be a Democrat or a Republican.

You all make the world/universe seem so black and white. Good or evil. Supergod or no god at all..what happened to the many colors of the rainbow? And yeah, that's all I'll say

I’m not going to say whether I believe in a higher power or not.... but personally I feel that "religion" has turned into a business for power and for money, priests tell you that you have to give money to God (to the preacher essentially) so that God will love you, they constantly tell you how that if you don’t join them then your going to go to "hell" and then they turn around and say how God is so merciful, if Gods so merciful then why did he put us on this planet in the first place? to play some sick game of "love me or die"? most say that God has been around forever, that he has no beginning and no end, they say that he can see the future and the past as one, if that’s so then why did he create us? my preacher used to say that he created us because he wanted to give us "free will" personally I feel that by creating us he has sent us to "hell" so we can be tortured for not worshipping him... that’s all based on western religion of course considering that I haven’t studied world religions deeply, although most are obviously just put into play so that there is a central individual (or individuals) that are supposed to be closest to the gods and can speak to them thus people will die for them to secure there place in some version of the afterlife....

In other words religion has become a way for some sick individuals to gain power and money

i am an existencialist, I think religion is a form of stability for weaknesses of the human mind, I value life all that much more because I believe it is our only form of existence, some people need religion, because they simply need the rules or guidelines to live by, the afterlife to combat their fear of death, and some 'purpose' for their lives. I simply believe I am here to live! and enjoy this life! People are so arrogant, we should be happy we even have awareness and enjoy our lives, once you really value human life for what it is, you realise why causing harm to another human life is so evil.

      my 2 cents

Dreamboat, are the best things in life usually tangible?.......Not for me.

Yeah everything is highly constrasting shades of black and white here. It's like this is this and that is that. As if the whole of religion is either good or bad, pointless or meaningful. Religion, just like anything, can be misused and can be a medium for manipulation, but that doesn't mean that is where the roots are. I suppose if someone has a strong adverse opinion of religion, and they choose to not have it in their lives because they don't feel it has merit or they don't believe in it, even though in actuality it could be a positive force in their life, that is completely up to that person. So the question is: Would you personally make something a part of your life (such as religion) for positive effect even if you didn't agree with it?......This question might make no sense, it's 3:30 AM. Although I am personally religious because I believe in it, I still think I would practice religion even if I didn't believe in it because of the positive effect it can have on people, bringing people together, strengthening morals etc. (Of course religion can do the exact opposite of this... or it can do a little of both, which is why it's not all just black and white)

Yawn, I think I'll go LD like the rest of you probably are.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

i do not believe in any higher entities, any purpose other than the choices we make ourselves, I believe in evolution etc, my friends wouldn't call me an atheist as such tho, I am in touch with my spirituality in a sense, my highest value is placed on life and having the best time in the life I have been given by my parents, I dont dislike religious people, I pity them in a way, because they need to follow someones ideas to have peace of mind, but I see that religion is something people can grab at and recognise the value it has to such people.
