You're not going to give up after one night, are you? Lucid dreaming takes a lot of practice, and so does dream recall. There are several things you can do throughout the day to increase your chances of both. It is a practice in dream yoga (Eastern version of lucid dreaming) to "contemplate the dream-like nature of reality. In western terms, it means continualy asking yourself all day: "Am I dreaming?" As it becomes a habbit, your chances of going lucid begin to increase. Also, keep a dream journal. Even if you haveb't remembered any dreams yet, keep a notebook and pen by your bed; it goes a long way in convincing your subconscious that you intend to remember your dreams. |
