      wierd waking sleep confusion

I had been working for my grandpa for awhile, doing some construction and such. i started waking up in the middle of the night and i would sit up in my bed and i couldnt decide what to do. i thought i was working, and naturally its bad to go asleep on the job, but on the other hand i knew im not working right now so i told my self i could go to sleep, but i couldnt be certian, i would jsut sit there in total confusion with people asking me for help and telling me to do stuff as if i actually was working, but in reality i knew i was sitting in my bed. after about 15 min i would decide that i was truly dreaming and i could go to sleep, this also was confusing because if i was dreaming how could i go back to sleep? i cant exclaim the state of confusion i was in. it was basically a LD, i was concious, but i guess it was more of a really vivid day dream. this hapened to me for about a week. and it happened every night. half of what i saw were the things in the room the other half of what i saw were people and objects from the job. so confused.

i was jsut wondering if any one had any similiar experiences, because the whole experience somewhat wierded me out.

I bet you were actualy asleep, and not sitting up in your bed, just dreaming that you were. Are you familiar with the concept of false awakenings?

I'd have to say the same. It entirely possible that because you've been working so much that it started incorporating it into your dreams and messing up your perception of reality

      Wow. Thats wierd.
I've had kinda similar episodes in which I would wake up, go to take a shower and just stop and forget what I was going to do. I would then go to my room and sit on my bed, taking about 10 minutes deciding what to do.
That also reminds me of times in Middle School when I would "wake up, take a shower and get ready for school" and then... wake up. Crap. yeah, it sucked, cuz I felt so good about myself getting up and being early, then I would have to do it all over again.
Whats better than complete freedom from laws, both judicial and physical?
