      Sleep-Paralysys and paranoia

      Hi there!

So during the last week or so, I've experienced sleep paralysis twice. What I'm wondering is, is there any tips or tricks to make it more enjoyable? Because I certainly see potential, and I've read about people who can turn a SP into a lucid dream at will. What gets me is the paranoia, and sense of dread or whatever that comes with it. I can only compare what I'm feeling to being really stoned.

Seeing how I've now encountered SP twice in a week, it has really poked my interest, so any feedback would be appreciated!

      Thanks.

      Hey, Idonteven

By Sleep Paralysis do you mean you're paralyzed and can't move? Also, do you get any hypnagogic hallucinations during this?

It can be pretty nasty stuff being stuck in sleep paralysis, but really the only way I know of is just to try and relax and brace whatever hallucinations you might come across, and just take it in and enjoy the experience, the more you are paranoid the worse it will get for you and most people would try and struggle and come out of the paralytic state because it's usually a horrifying experience.

And yes usually you will be lucid at this time already (For me anyway). so just relax, and just let things work out on it's own and don't try to force anything.
