      tell me about RC's

      how long does it take to start doing RC's in dreams, if it's different for each person, how long did it take you? how much RCing a day is enough to work? how essential has RC's been to your LDing success? sorry for the rookie questions, but i'm not very experienced at this?

      I don't know. I usually know when I'm in dream and I use reality-checks to double-check. But sometimes reality-checks helped me get lucid. It really depends on how you do the reality check. You can't just mindlessly do it and expect results.

      I think between these two threads, you should get decent answers to all your questions, Raswalt. I think there is also a chapter on this in LaBerge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming (he calls it critical state testing), which hopefully you've gotten a copy of by now.
