fake lucid dream possible?

i had a 'ludic' dream, in fact i was controling the dream, however the over all dream wasnt as vivid as my first real lucid dream, so i sort of wonder if it really wasnt a lucid dream and i was just dreaming as if i was having a lucid dream, even though that wasnt what it was. There were some weird things happening in it and i was aware of it so i suppose it was lucid and as i write this i think more and more that it was a real lucid dream. I guess ill just cut to the chase, has anyone had a dream that was not lucid but had a lucid dream theme?

Yes, absolutely. I've had some, and I know that most other people get them at least every now and then. It's pretty common, especially if you're thinking about lucid dreams a lot. The difficulty, as you've noticed, is trying to tell the difference between some less vivid, but real, LDs and the fake ones.

fake lucids are dreams where you dream your having a lucid dream the way to tell them apart from actual lucids is if you think about it you will have been doing things that you would not do if you where actualy aware e.g. difficult tasks are simple you do not follow your normal lucid dreaming rituals or you 'do' rarther than 'decide to do' things there is also a diffrent 'feel' to it but its hard to expain since its so subjective.

yea i have had mutiple dreams where i state multiple times i can do such and such because i am dreaming but i never really relize i am dreaming for whatever reason, like ill be driving a car and i will say i dont have to worry about cops because im dreaming yet i wont go lucid.

Yes i had a dream where some guy was yelling at me "HEY IDOIT THIS IS A LUCID DREAM! DO A REALITY CHECK!" it never became lucid
