Can't tell if lucid or not

I made a WILD attempt but I don't remember falling asleep, I felt no vibrations or anything, I just woke up from a dream that I remember being able to control, but I never once thought that I was dreaming. I remember trying to fly and stuff but I can't tell if it was actually a lucid dream or if it was just a dream where I could do anything I want. Can anyone tell me the difference?

Lucid Dream is a dream in which your aware or you know that your dreaming simply said...

In WILD Attempt you don't need to sense, see or feel anything to get a lucid dream
Sometimes i were just lying still in most comfortable position while performing technique till suddenly appearing in dream while knowing that i'm dreaming.

It's quite hard in your case to describe whether you were dreaming or not
Sometimes in my lucid dreams i didn't say words or think anything to know that i'm dreaming i just were aware of it and continued my journey
It's up to you, i guess

I can suggest you few stuff for further attempts:
      - Stabilize Dream (Your lucid dreams won't last longer than few seconds - minutes in most cases unless you stabilize them using some stabilization techniques)
      - Keep yourself calm
      - Have confidence in stuff.
      - Stabilization 2x - It will help you aswell with figuring out whether you were lucid or not, afterall you will remember yourself stabilizing a dream.

This stabilization tutorial should be enough for lenghty WILDs

      I'm back! Again? Uhhh..

Judging from your trying to fly I would say it was lucid dream unless you thought you were awake during the dream. Sometimes it's more of a subconscious thought that we're dreaming that influences our actions during the dream.

In that case you weren't lucid. That's all it means, to know you're dreaming while you're dreaming. I fly all the time in non-lucids, and try to fly, and use all kinds of control tactics. Dream control is different from lucidity. Sometimes you can be lucid with no control, or non-lucid with lots of control. Hope that helped.
