Thread: What would you call this?

i just remembered that about 3 years (i was 16 at the time) ago i was on a school bus and i was resting my eyes...i WASNT TRYING to sleep but just to pass the time passively. anyway, i started to fall asleep anyway and i got that drowsy feeling when ur about to fall asleep, however i wasnt quite sleeping yet because i could still hear voices on the bus. and all of a sudden i see in the darkness of my eyes, this "pixelated", pink/red in color sequence of events of a person stepping over something to my left (i was seeing this event from the perspective of myself viewing it through my eyes as if they were open). this kinda startled me so i opened my eyes. 2 seconds later, i see it happen in real life, a girl stepped over something in the aisle of the school bus exactly as i visioned it. what did i experience? is it just plain seeing the future or soemthing else?

I simply don’t know. But I’ll be back to read the replies.

Could be deja vous in very short succession.

But, either way, that would make me feel brilliant, it would make my day if that happened to me.

Well if your vision was of the bus crashing and killing everyone and you rushed off the bus and then it did in fact crash, killing everyone except for you, and then you were hunted down by "death" for interfering with his grand design, then I'd call it a Final Destination sequel.

Yeah, while in the hypnogogic state, your mind presented you with its awareness that somebody was about to enter your personal space.

It really is not so amazing. Practically everybody is psychic to the exent of 'feeling' people approach them, or watch them. when in the hypnogogic state, it is enough to wake a person up. When I was in the Army, I found that the experienced Sergeants would not discipline soldiers for falling asleep on guard duty, not unless they would not wake up as soon as their eyes fastened upon them. It was found that a soldier in a light sleep could be awakened simply by looking in his direction. It was felt that the anxiety of an enemy sneeking through the parameter would have the same alarming effect.

You can easily test this universal psychic response by staring at people in public, and not so they can immediately see you -- stare from the side or even from behind. You can see that they become uncomfortable and eventually turn around to find out who is watching them. It does not work so well with beautiful women who have trained themselves to ignore probing eyes.
