If I am not that crazy a good time ago I did post a thread about this and how I was testing it. Well in short I had very few short lucid dream until now, but it wasn't a waste of days and time. It's going to be a bit long thread so if you don't like wall texts if better to leave I guess, specially because it's mostly a theory of mine ( and I don't think I am the unique who thought about this ). Maybe you guys can help me out a bit or who knows I can get to help someone with thread.

\/ Small intro and personal experience \/

Getting LD through willpower. I have been testing this without keeping dream journal to see if it was possible to LD like this, it really isn't easy but at the same time I also confirmed to myself that remembering the dreams of each day actually REALLY help dream memory ( even if you don't keep a dream journal as long you can remember at least 1 dream entirely for days ). I am also that kind of lazy person, I also can't concentrate myself on such topics for too long ( after a time I begin to think on other random topics and obviously lose concentration ) but I think I have been able to make it easier to dream with some news "steps" I took after thinking on how to make myself dream or get lucid. I don't really frequent too much dreamviews ( but used to for a few weeks last year ) and I still don't know what is my dream sign until now ( lol ). So, what I have been trying lately ...

\/ Getting to dream and LD \/
Past few months I have been an "observer", you know that feeling you know it's a dream yet somehow it makes you feel immersed in it and simply forget it's a dream? It's been like this. For me, it's a good sign that I can get to LD because I think it's some sort of half lucid ( and the usual LD would come from this type of dream ). But this isn't enough or at least wasn't for me, so this is what I did try after some thoughts on the topic:

1 - Sleep before becoming entirely tired, in my opinion it does help you actually lucid dream because an exhausted mind would probably break a possible LD.
2 - When going to sleep, get in a comfortable position ( obviously ) and start to use your mind ( with eyes closed ) a scenario or possible adventure that could happen in a dream. There is no need to force too much detail, you might actually not sleep for hours if you try forcing too much details. Now, why did this help me? I am pretty sure I did dream and remember what I dream on every day I did this. It wasn't the same thing I imagined before suddenly sleeping, but it seem to help at least in my case. Extra personal note: I only got to LD when looking to the "roof direction", I don't know why.

These steps did help me have dreams every day, those "half lucid" ( or so I believe ) that I said. So yesterday I did these 2 steps but then I thought: "It's likely I am missing something that can make my brain notice that it's a dream", I created a third step:

3 - Tell myself I am in "my world" or "dream" while doing step two, but not necessarily every time while imagining the scenario etc. Just a few times, step 2 and 3 I did without giving too much details so I could get to sleep slowly eventually. Today at about 8:22AM I awoke after a LD of about 10-15 minutes, my record I'd say as every LD would "break" in about 2 minutes.

The Lucid Dream experience: It switched from a creepy zombie dream to suddenly an empty city ( suddenly I also had "vivid" vision ), I knew instantly I was lucid dreaming. I did walk through it, did some "super jumping" testing gravity or how it did work within my mind in a LD, it was rather easy. But the first time I said "for a dream it's very real " my vision begun to fade away as if to throw me away from the LD, as I did lost so many LD I simply ignored what I said and didn't panic but started to walk again, immediately my vision came to normal. I think that my brain tried to awake me when I told myself it was a dream, in the past I used to only have nightmares and would wake myself in every dream ( you may understand why ) ... so continuing I tried to "imagine" a body in my front to create someone, but I simply couldn't. Anyone know why? I can imagine right now a body form, but in the LD the image wouldn't simply appear. I tried to make a military looking person with a gun, it was quite fitting for the apocalyptic empty city. After a few minutes walking I did blink and I was in front of my house, but there were two cars I've never seen and 2 nude women ( ?? ) and this is where it ended ( thanks mr. Boner ).

I think this was a quite fast result as on first try that I did step 3 I got a LD, but who knows if this will work for the next days. Another thing I forgot to say is I think we can create "barriers" not believing in ourselves which stop us from going LD or it even affect dream memory. But that's just my thoughts and I am not an expert. So, now that I am satisfied with testing I guess I will start a dream journal using that Awoken app for Android ( easier than carrying a notebook )to see how well it might affect. So, do you guys know anything else I might improve?
