Full disclosure - I'm doubtful my 1st LD will be battling dragons...

“…climb Everest, battle a dragon, or explore distant planets.” That’s at the beginning of the Aurora headband video from iWinks. As I wait with baited breath hoping I didn’t loose a couple of bills over this, I checked out their site and things are progressing nicely.

With that said, I’m not gonna lie, Everest dragons and Europa (moons are interesting too!) probably aren’t going to be in the first series of LD’s I have. And probably the second, third, and fourth. Now I understand they can’t exactly advertise the more, umm, sensual aspect that LD’s could offer but like, come on. Now please understand I’m not going down the stereotypical route of; Yeah dog, I totally had an LD last night where I just went through the entire Playboy mansion! How awesome am I!?

I forget where I read \ heard this but something like the majority of individual’s first LDs are usually sexual in nature, if not a consistent theme throughout LDs. So I suppose through my attempt to be clever and naturally longwinded, I’m curious as to how y’all feel about this. If you’re comfortable, I’m curious to see how if you have had those LDs, how real was the experience? Was your first LD of that nature?

Of course keep it chaste, and though the subject matter is anything but, there are ways to keep things clinical. In another thread I asked about how present you are within an LD in general, so I’m curious how \ if that topic relates to this.

      Heyy DeltaDreamer ^_^
Sorry I didn't find your message earlier
So for the sexual lucid dreams. It depends a lot on what you want to do in the dream. You should never forget that its the intentions that sometimes make the dreams its not "the nature" of person to have one.
For my first LD. Yeah it was awesome, but still it was kind a vague, still full with the senses and feels of the real world. I guess it varies from person to person.
Now for the whole experience in the LD wheter sexual or not. It depends on how good you can maintain the stability in your dream. If your dreams "crash" very easily then deffenetly you should not try the wet LDs They will break down in matter of seconds. Yes I won't lie I had a sexual lucid dream once. Now the theme of the dream was not sexual at all. We were in a room with many other friends. It just happened. Now my dream stability was very low and the dream "crashed" in matter of seconds. So yeah
      I hope I was helpful! ^_^

Well, if you have had sexual encounters in the waking life than expect the dream to be just as intense as your waking life experiences. Your brain will base the dream off of your waking experiences. You will likely find it difficult to stay dreaming if you become over excited though.

      Hey guys, obviously I've been away for a bit as I definitely thought this thread was a bust! And now that I'm getting back over a month later, I probably didn't help myself!:}

@chance7hope - Yep, I would imagine if anyone has issues with loosing the vividness or lucidity in an LD then trying to have sex will probably only cause that to happen sooner. Prematurely even? (Wow, bad joke.) I guess I just found the whole thing rather corny as I would think, especially guys, that when you finally climb this Everest, most are going to try some climbing of other sorts!

@GetDreaming - Yep again, like anything, if you get too excited no matter what you're doing or want to do it'll be that much easy to lose. As it is, none of that is on my radar yet but just something I thought was funny.

Yea from my experience if you get too into the sex and the feeling then the dream tends to become unstable. I'm just waiting for that moment when I keep it real steady though and then I'm about to bust and i wake up trying to make it to the toilet in time as to not explode in my boxers lol

@robertcox88 - My fears in a nutshell!:} But yes, I would think that's more of an LD experience for intermediate and or experts.

Maybe it's your body rebelling telling you hey you need to actually have sex... If it's too good in here you won't go looking for it out there lol.

@DeltaDreamer yea it seems like it takes quite a bit of experience.

@Yosa - Yeah, that sounds like my kinda luck but have to say I'm sorry to hear that either way.

@robertcox88 - Getting back into the swing of things, yet again, all I can say is fingers crossed!
