i have had trouble finding my dream symbols. I dont no what i am looking for. Some nights i remember my dreams vividly and other nights i dont remember them at all. Freud said that everybody has dream symbols and that dreams give us information on how to obtain our wishes and desires, but i dont recognize my dream symbols or i dont really dream about my desires.

Do you journal your dreams? This is one thing that journaling can really help with. You can go back and review your past dreams, and identify things or people that show up frequently in your dreams.
