Well, that's no breaking news, why are they still putting effort into it? No matter how often they will give ocular proof of how these beliefs came to existance, alien freaks just never give up. It's pointless to even talk to these people. They live in their freaky fantasy worlds with aliens, dwarves and magical psychic abilities, totally ignoring scientific facts. It's giving me diarrhea.

I don't know about UFO's in the Bible, the description sounds a little vague. Anyways, I thought I'd add something to the original topic.

One aspect of this theory is that these abduction memories only begin with the simple event of sleep paralysis. People will later on see a hypno-therapist because they suspect they might have had an alien encounter. During these sessions of hypnosis, the patient will actually create the supposed memories of being taken on board a space craft where they undergo torturous experimentation because that is what they suspect had happened.

I remain neutral on the subject, because I find it impossible to judge without any experience in such things. Obviously some people who claim alien abduction would be appalled by this skeptical explanation, because it was apparently all too real to them.

Sounds like its just mind over matter, im sure u have all herd that saying. It never happened but they beleive something so much they trick there minds into thinking it really did happen.

( Keep in mind i didnt read that link, If i can find the page ill post some very freaky information about dreaming/possible devil enounters. Just dont have time to google for it right now )

For those who believe in aliens.
Actually, I believe there are other life forms out there. so we are all aliens I guess. But as far as abductions.
1.Any life form that could possibly travel through space, would most likely be far superior in intelligence than us.
Why do they abduct us, Then always return us safely into bed. Do they check our temperature and do a physical? I would think their ambitions would be greater.

2.Why is it that those who do not believe in alien do not get abducted?

3.Why are we always abducted around these times where , as stated SP would occur?

4.Why do they always act in a covert and clandestine approach?

My first bout of sleep paralysis struck before I started school. I had the distinct feeling that there were 2 other creatures in the room with me. I didn't know what they were but they terrified me. It still spooks me to think about it.

So, if I were to go to a hypnotherapist...there is the high likelihood I'd create an alien abduction scenario while 'under'? I'm pretty sure I've not been abducted by aliens...but now I'm wondering if my mind would give into that suggestion since that seed has been planted there. Would it be safe to try hypnotherapy to see if the false abduction scenario would happen to me?

They were talking about the seraphim for god's sake. I went to a christian school forr ten years and had lots of time to read the bible.

I agree with the opinions expressed about "alien abductions" not taking place in the everyday waking world. Too many times in such accounts have I read words to the effect of: "I was lying on/in my bed when..." or "I suddenly woke up, when..." A very common dream scenario is that of the "false awakening", well-known in LD, but evidently not so well-known by ordinary dreamers, in which anything can "happen".
