When did you have your second lucid?

      Hey everyone,

I know that we all have different experiences with lucid dreaming, but I'm just curious. I've had one lucid dream, it's been a couple weeks now and I'm all geared up for another one eventually. So when did most of you become lucid again after you had your first? Did it take a few days, weeks, months? I'm aware that after you have quite a few they reoccure more often, but if you have only experienced a couple do you alread begin to have them more frequently? Don't get me wrong, I have all the time in the world to have more lucid dreams, it's more curiosity than impacience.

      Thanks,

      Nick

It's been exactly 3 months since my first LD. So 3 months and counting because I'm yet to have a second . But I think it all depends on your situation. During summer vacation, I was remembering 3-5 dreams (usually pretty vivid ones) every day. The second school started again, the stress had rendered my dream recall, and pretty much all aspects of my dreaming pathetic. So if hyphothesize that if you are in a calm, relaxing, and stress free environment, it may come in no time.

I started LDing naturally when I was ten or so. I've never managed to induce more than a few a week. They stick with me so intensely that I just can't seem to get into the right frame of mind. I might be able to tonight and this would be the third night after my last.

I don't want to hear about the brain from someone that doesn't have one.
Nor do I want to hear about evolution from someone that hasn't evolved.

I can't remember my first few lucid dreams, since I've been doing them ever since I was a kid trying to escape nightmares. But more recently, after begining to study lucid dreaming, I've found that my LD frequencies very with my activities. A lot has changed in my life, so I hardly even have the time for mental preparation when laying down to sleep, I've just been kinda "You've been up long enough and you have to work in 6 hours. Take your ass to sleep." lol. With that, my LD frequency hasn't been all that high. However, when I bought "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" not long ago, just my interest being kept while reading through it got me 5 lucid dreams in 3 days. 3 of them in one night. That is a record I've never broken since then.
I've just recently been trying to discipline my practice a little more, and my recall is coming back gradually, so we'll see if I'm able to up my LD frequency any time soon.

Pretty much, my 2nd one was I think on either the same night, or the next night. I am not sure whether I was in SP that 1st night or if it was the 2nd night, b/c it was so long ago (I believe almost 15 years ago). The 2nd LD was either the morning of 11-10 or the extremely early morning of Veteran's Day! It was basically a continuation of the 1st one. I still couldn't control them yet back then.

I think it took me somewhere around two months to reach my second lucid dream. I had another 2 or so at only one every couple of months, then suddendly had 3 (2 in one night) a couple of weeks ago. Other people who started trying to LD when I did might be having one every couple at nights, or still trying for their first by now. It varies widely from person to person.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

I had my first lucid during the summer and i havent had one since. I also had better recall during the summer, and now that school has started and my job sucks i have had bad recall. Everyone here says to keep a dream journal and i only started it a few weeks ago but i can see that my dream recall is improving.
