How do you have this all setup? Are you using a device to have the light turn on in the middle of the night, or are you leaving the red light on all night? |

Hi all, I've been using the lightbulb wrapped in red pastic technique for a few nights to induce lucid dreams. Have bought a few light bulbs of different wattages to experiment. So far I tried the 25w ones which worked only once last night but I missed the cue. It was an ambulance that passed me by with blinking red lights. After that the second hour cycle it woke me up. At least it proves that it worked. I will try to use a lower wattage one tonight. |

“No God No Peace. Know God Know Peace.”
Hi RaNT132, I posted the setup in the other post about the strobe light, guess it was too long to find LOL. Anyway the bulb lights/flashes 2 hours after I fall asleep timed by a normal plug-in timer and will flash for 8secs (still experimenting) every hour after that. The duration of flashing and the flashing is controlled by two electronic circuits which will reset themselve when the timer cuts out the supply. I bought the circuits from a local electronics store as hobby kit sets , I ask the guy there to help me to solder the parts together LOL . But I still do not know what the novadreamer flashing rate is like but I think it is more brief than this setup which could also be a problem. Also I don't know how bright was the strobe in the other post so I can only guess. |

That sounds like quite the process, but I’m really interested in the results. I did notice that your experience of interpreting the red light as an ambulance in your dream was similar to an example in one of Stephen Laberge’s books about the red light on a LD Induction device being interpreted as a bright red sunset. |

I read that red light was 'gentler' on the dream than other colours. Maybe because it matches the colour of the eyelids when light shines through LOL. |
