While i was reading LaBerge book i saw that awareness increasing exercise ( that one that tells you to look around and see shapes colours.... and remember smells and tastes. ..etc and stuff ) i tried it for about 15 min i started having 2 dreams per night that aren't lucid but make me experience an extremely vivid use of one of my five senses that i was astonished o_o !
Like the colors one it was mega vivid at the end of the dream it just started to be more vivid and more, until everything turned white and i woke up.
The taste one also i tasted a cake it was somehow a brain effect i believed that it was sweet and i felt it somehow xD , the sound one was so clear just like in real life.
Another one is the touch feeling i was going to fall so i forcibly put my hand on a wall ( i was lucid on that one ) the pressure against my hand was huge! that i forgot all about the dream and my goals and opened my mouth in surprise it was so real that i was shocked then i felt the softness of the wall after touching it while surprised ( my brain even added the dramatical effect it was sparkling too xD ).
The smell one it's not a good one xD i had a dog and it smelled so bad that i was not lucid and kept wondering what's with this dog ugh even in a dream ! But it felt so real that i even stoped a second only to be sure that there is a smell while i'm dreaming ...etc
So i think it would be good if we could be more aware about the memories of smells,tastes and feelings that our brain memorised because our dreams would be more real .
