I think it's time for me to take a break from trying to LD. For the past few days I've just been going around in circles trying to decide what techniques to do and then ending up trying to do all of them and not being successful and getting frustrated. Tried to start doing All Day Awareness a few days ago, and my god, it's overwhelming as all hell...I can hardly focus on my surroundings for 30 seconds, let alone 24/7. My dream recall is down the drain too...I used to get hand cramps from writing because my dreams were so visually detailed and long. Now I remember very short snippets, if even that. And on top of all that, I have to deal with real life stuff. So, I'm just going to step back for a few days and take a breather. I bought a new laptop that arrives tomorrow, so I'll probably start using that as a dream journal when I start practicing again. And I'll just do All Day Awareness is 1 or 2 minute chunks, I guess, because baby steps are better than no steps at all. Sorry, I know that was long......needed to vent.
