Awesome. I'm going to try tonight. I tried the tea a few nights ago but couldn't choke it down. I made Jell-O shots with tea so that should be more palpable. I like your idea of putting extract in capsules. |

Last night I tried Calea Z and was very surprised on the lenghty, very vivid dream I had. While I did not become lucid, the dream was about lucid dreaming. While that was great and a sign that I am heading in the right direction, the amazing thing about the dream was the overwhelming feeling in the dream. Very hard to describe, but a group of 6-8 people including myself were doing an experement on becoming lucid. Some in the dream achieved it, others like myself did not. But this wonderful, overwhelming feeling of oneness, love, and excitement came over the entire group and we all felt it. My description does not do justice to the feeling I'm trying to decribe. I then woke up for the day and that feeling carried through for several hours into the morning. There have been very few dreams in my past where something was felt so intensely and for so long. Very pleased with my results from last night, so I plan to experiment with Calea Z again. For those interested, I took two caps of 10x extract at two in the morning. I started working on lucid dreaming about 3 weeks ago and have only been using the DILD method. Next time I try Calea Z, I will take it a little closer towards my last REM period of the night and see what happens. |

I think that using the caps is a good idea. I've read where some people grind the leaves they buy and put it in capsules. Seems to me that you would have to injest a lot of capsules doing it like that for it to be effective. I personally like the idea of using the 10x or 20x extract instead. A lot less trouble. I hear that the tea is horrible. A week or so ago I tried 1 cap after waking up late at night and I didn't even remember any dreams that night. Not enough I guess. The next time I tried it I used 2 well packed capsules and had a fantastic dream about lucid dreaming. The next night I couldn't remember a single dream, but, the following night during my last REM period and not using anything, I had a fantastic LD. My first in 15 years! I don't know if in some way the Calea Z contributed to that LD two nights later, but it's an interesting thought. I work a lot during the day on awareness, memory (both past and prospective)(thanks Sageous!), mantras, setting intention, RC's., and just thinking a lot about lucid dreaming. I'm sure that was the main reason for having a DILD LD. I've still got 4 caps of Calea Z so I still plan on doing a little experimentation. Even if I don't have an LD that way, the NLD was fantastic in itself. By the way, of the 2 grams of extract I bought, I was able to pack 7 caps. |

Ok, I tried Calea Z again, but this time nothing! Barely even remembered a small part of one dream. Not sure what to think at this point, other than I'll continue to try to LD naturally. Last time I tried Calea Z, I had an extremely interesting dream and an LD two nights later. Now I'm not sure that any of that was related to the Calea Z. Guess I shouldn't be disappointed with my LD attempts though since it was less than a week ago that I had my first LD in 15 years. I KNOW that it can be done and that it will happen again. Gonna keep on trying. |
