      Dream memory

Anyone ever have a dream where inside the dream you remeber a past dream? One that you might not even remeber?

Last night I had a dream like that. I was with 2 friends and we walk into this town and go into this place and I see this guy playing pool. And then I remeber I seen this person before and we met in some other town. And he played pool against one of my friends I was with back then(I was with the same people both times). Well my friend beat him back then and the guy didn't like it so was like still mad at my friend, and was being all rude and stuff.

Anyway before that point I do not remeber the first thing at all. Infact I don't think I ever dreamed about playing pool before, and I don't in real life, and I don't ever remeber seeing the two people I was with play it either.

This is not the first time something like that happened either so I was wondering. Did I like dream the memory part first then forgot it and remebered it again later? Or maybe when I got to the part where I remebered I dreamt the memory right then, or maybe I just totally made up the memory in my head. Supposedly after you dream something and you wake up it gets erased. Maybe instead it was just hidden some where untill I remebered it inside the dream.

What do you think about it? One other thing I was wondering about too, anyone ever become lucid and try to remeber a past dream while dreaming? I wonder if it would be easier to remeber all the details if you try remebering what happened while dreaming.

i've had in-dream deja vu. i'll remember past dreams when i was in the same place. -- your dreams don't get erased as long as you wake up soon after they're done. sorry if i didn't answer the question... it confused me so.

It wasn't deja vu, I remebered seeing that person before and what happened then. We even talked about it, and all the dream people remebered it.

I just thought it weird to remeber something that never happened. The more I think about it, I think that maybe it happened during the first part of the dream, even though I don't remeber anything in the middle and it seemed like it took place a long time ago. That might sound wierd but I dont know how else to explain it heh.

I have had false awakenings before, and they are pretty confusing sometimes, especially when the false awakening is located in my house, because then i would be like...wha...i thought i just wrote down this dream...but its not here, AHHHHHH!
