      Stress and Dreams

Can stress affect your dreams? I've been very stressed out lately and I haven't even had normal dreams that I remember.

Stress is murder for dreams. If you are stressed out, your mind has no room for dreamy pleasentries. Your stress levels are to high and it blocks out certain chemicals in your brain that helps with recall. try to reduce your stress.

Well, I guess it depends on your attitude towards stress. If you go to bed thinking of what's gonna happen tomorrow, thinking of what you are gonna do, etc, the quality of your dreams may suffer.

One important thing tho - if you *believe* that stress wont allow you to dream, you are going down the hill, as each dreamless night will persuade you that this is a fact. After a while you will just give up on dreaming while under stress...
The moral is: dont give up, you may dream regardless of whatever happens to you. One dreamless night is not the end of your dreaming
