I dont know what to put in the subject

Well i have many dreams were i would look at a person i knew like a friend but i would get the feeling that it was some one else like my brother. like i had a dream my friend was sick and he was laying in bed but when i looked at him i would get a strange feeling that inside him was my brother[not physicaly]. i have had other ones besides that and i was just woundering if anyone could explain to me why i would see someone and think someone was inside of them. thanks

Well, possibly, depending on who you feel is inside, it might be that you associate that person with the condition the actual body in the dream is in.

So for example, if you saw a sick person in bed and it felt like your brother you might feel your brother is (getting) sick one way or the other. Or if they're in bed you might feel like they need a rest, or you want to watch over them. There are many many options so its hard to say..

Dreams are very abstract though, looking for a meaning can be quite hard..but yeah, I'd rather listen to the feeling than what I see in dreams, when it comes down to identifying people.

What do you think it means yourself? Your own intuition is the best tool you have here ^_~

I know just what you mean, Army.

All too often in these instances, though, I can't honestly say my mind is simply associating these people or concepts. Instead it looks at though the combination creates a new person that I've never met, but have always known, for I feel a close kinship.

It is not surprising to me that in dreams I would feel like these friends are more like brothers or sisters, because they actually are some part of me, given that they are part of my dreams. What appearance they take is largely secondary.

It also works in reverse. Instead of seeing friends as more like brothers and sisters, I see my own sisters as more like friends. They don't behave the same way at all, and I cannot honestly say that they are meant to represent my sisters, my thoughts about my sisters, or anything associated with them beyond merely that they are family. They're just simply too "close," all sorts of psychic communication and emotional oneness, within the dream of course.

It's all so different. The best way to get around the mystery and not have it bother you is just to realize that they're you - everything is you in a dream - and go on with whatever you want to do.
