      3rd person dreams

What is the deal with this, my dreams are in 3rd person, so it is harder to realize that im dreaming, cause its like watching a movie or something to that extent.

Anyone have the same thing going on? and does anyone offer helpful advice on the subject?

      thanks!

Half the time I'm in 3rd person. I use it as my dreamsign.

Damn, its so hard to realize.

Sometimes its like a camera that comes 'inside' my head, and i go to first person, kindof...its really strange.

I don't have dreams like that, but instead all my memories are in 3rd person. Every single one of them. I find that odd. But I don't know how to help you with the dreams. My dream sign and it seems to be a lot of other people's is when the building/place where you are isn't right, wall color doors. So maybe even in 3rd person you could pick that up.
Love like you have never been hurt before

I could explain this over AIM or YIM, or perhaps through using my damn hands, but your like 7000 miles away, so that wouldn't work

It happens to me all the time. I know who I am in the dream and I am walking around but then some times I see myself which means it had to be 3rd person. I think when its like that some times I am still moving around and doing stuff just seeing it from a different angle.

I can recall in 3rd person, but only well know areas such as my house, school, ect.

3rd person is like seeing yourself and everyone else, not like vision(eyes) which is in 1st person.

I sometimes catch myself thinking in 3rd person, in real life. I might be walking down a street and thinking:

"Steven walked down the street, dodging the various people walking past."

If you do RC's, for part of it you should try waving your hands infront of your face. If you dream third person a lot it should work pretty good since its something easy to check and you couldn't do it in that dream. Unless of course it throws you back into first person or something.

Yeah...sounds interesting, I never gain lucidity through RC, but i do try to push my finger through my palm when i remember. i"ll have to do some waving of the hand too!

I have third person dreams mostly too! But when I concentrate on doing something myself it turns into 1st person so I can do reality checks also both of the lucids I've had were fully in 1st person. Are your lucids in 3rd person as well? You said that the camera "goes inside your head" once in a while, does this happen when you become lucid?
