      Dream odor

Hello there I haven't posted in a while since I first come here, but I always come here trying to get my first lucid dream! I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is anything I can put on my pillow that has a nice calming smell that helps you dream? Maybe there is an incense that I could burn to do this? If anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear from you. Thank you for your time.

One simple yet useful word: Lavender.

"I was looking back to see if you were looking back at me to see me looking back at you".

      yeah, lavender.
Better still, you could buy a small lavender bush, plant it in your garden. When it's in flower, pull a few stems off, and put the little flowers in a pouch, like a scent bag, and stick that under your pillow.
Or, when you tumble dry your bedlinen, maybe you could find some lavender scented tumbledrier sheets...i'm sure the local supermarket would have them.
Or there's lavender oil...sprinkle a few drops on your pillow.
Burn a lavender incense stick before bed.

I thought I would never get a reply on this one! lol I stopped checking to see if anyone replied to this for a while but I just happened to check it today and got 5 replies. Im really glad that you all answered and there is no shortage of Lavender oil in our house! My ma is always burning Lavender oil on this wee thing where you put the oil on top and inside underneath where you put the oil you put a candle in and it heats up the oil making the place smell(In a good way). Thanks for that information everyone!

you're welcome, but if you're going to use an oil burner, make sure you blow the candle out before you go to sleep, or you won't be smelling lavender, but the charred ruins of your house!

I have found a great way to help me dream at night, it's the old insense stick, I should of tried it at the start but decided to go for lavander instead which didn't help me that much... So in a desperate attempt I went and tried insense sticks and I found the perfect one! called Night Queen. So just before going to bed I burn it and I have dreams ALL night long! Nice smell to!

      Hey,

You can also try putting Mugwort in your pillow. I have yet to buy some mugwort but I've heard it really helps.

Never knew... though I have a small sack of crushed lavender hanging above my pillow for years.
