Is there any danger in lucid dreaming? |
|
No more than there is in normal dreaming. The only difference is, you know you're dreaming as you're doing it, and you can control your environment as you wish. The only danger that I can see is being seen as weird by people who aren't familiar with the concept when you try to explain it to them. |

The dream is still in my head
I heave a sigh and sadly smile
And lie a while in bed
I wish that it might come to pass
Not fade like all my dreams” —Rush
I know someone who can't stop lucid dreaming. There are many people to whom lucidity comes naturally, and they are lucid in all their dreams, or a large percentage thereof. And he, and the many lucid naturals on these boards, is perfectly healthy. |

I'm one of those people. On any given day, I have about a 70% chance of getting a lucid dream. But I don't see anything bad about it. In fact, it's absolutely wonderful. |
